i think it means that you're going to change in some way today that will have people thinking it's just for today, being Halloween, the holiday of being something that you're not. but the surprise will be that it's a real change, not just a temporary one.

What gets me is that I wasn't planning on changing anything, really. I was thinking about being more straightforward, sultry, and confident, but I didn't think that was the kind of thing that changed overnight.

possibly the change could be me emailing a certain person and just being totally calm & straightforward. yiii!
