There was no end to my love of Sassy. None at all. It's where I learned about zines and riot grrl (though I never really was one) and indie rock. In the book, there was a quote: "It's been said that everyone who was a fan of the Velvet Underground started a band - everyone who was a fan of Sassy started a zine."

So true, no? And now we have blogs and similar, but I still miss Sassy.

Good for you! I plan to be the same way - and not just where sex is concerned. Public school only gets you so far - I hope to educate my kids even better outside of the classroom. Hope to, anyway.
