No surprises....

A heart that's full up like a landfill,
a job that slowly kills you,
bruises that won't heal.
You look so tired-unhappy,
bring down the gover-ment,
they don't, they don't speak for us.
I'll take a quiet life,
a handshake of carbon monoxide,

with no alarms and no surprises,
no alarms and no surprises,
no alarms and no surprises,
Silent silence.

This is my final fit,
my final bellyache,

with no alarms and no surprises,
no alarms and no surprises,
no alarms and no surprises please.

Such a pretty house
and such a pretty garden.

No alarms and no surprises,
no alarms and no surprises,
no alarms and no surprises please.

when Radiohead fits your mood, that's never a good sign. someone comment or update please! the cutoff from email is driving me out of my tiny little mind....

silly bint! listening to Radiohead will NOT HELP.

*sigh* am not listening to Radiohead. Communists won't let me have music on, IM, or email. *hand*staple*forhead*

Song just sort of popped up. One of my Writing Center friends had "a job that slowly kills you" as his away message last night and I guess that which got stuck got dislodged amidst the drudgery.

and WHY are they being so communist????

studies have proven having a little music on can HELP people be productive (if not keep them awake by having them dance at their desks) ;)

the people in offices are allowed. Us cubicle drones must suffer. It's not 'professional' they carp. I guess they haev to worry about impressing people, being based in ALBANY and all. :P

chocolate is a definite. Friends too, if only over IM.

*hugs* this job feels so dead end. Would have gone mad save fact that wednesday is last day.

"Whenever Radiohead fits your mood" ?!

[identity profile] lemurtanis.livejournal.com 2002-04-29 11:32 am (UTC)(link)
I generally have Radiohead or Tori on my headphones, which I wear everywhere. You're not depressed until you listen to "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" around 5 times in a row. Buck up, kiddo.

*hugs* ^_^ thank you.

I admit that radiohead is not necessarily depressing (i.e. - fake plastic trees, Just, etc.) but that office drains the life out of me...and with the grey as hell weather we've been having, today was a bit much. No IM! No Email! Nothing else to do! Madness, I tell you. Madness.
