I totally understand that! Just because you love to read and write and talk about what you read and write doesn't mean that you have to be all mouse in the house. (hi. if you DRESS like Emily Dickenson, it doesn't mean that you ARE her. duh...) Laura Ashley...*shudders*

I've come to learn, also, that it's not the field, it's not the company, but it's really the people who you work with. My mom said something interesting about that too. She worked in securities/leasing/finance, and had THE greatest time because she was working with a group of cool people (including my dad, who she met there, and her best friend). But, she said, if you had told her that a finance company was going to be this source of fun, she would have laughed at you.
