Signal Boost for a Worthy Cause

Donate gently used clothing items to the Middle Collegiate Church

My good friend Kate posted this in her blog:

Middle Collegiate Church, where I work, runs a clothing closet for those in need. With the cold bearing down, need for clothing is increasing dramatically.  If you’ve been contemplating cleaning out your closets, I ask that you please consider donating those items to our clothing closet. Donations can be delivered any time the church is open: 50 East 7th Street (just off 2nd Ave.), New York, NY.

We will take anything clean and gently used, but we are particularly in need of things like sweaters, hats, and coats. There’s also great need for interview clothing.

We would really appreciate your generosity, and I know that our clients would, as well.

I can put you in contact with her if you have questions, otherwise, donate away!
