Random Question of the day

You are in a sushi restaurant. The menu features a maki that they refer to as a "Rick Roll."

What is on this roll?

[livejournal.com profile] blergeatkitty and I have come to the consensus that it should be whitefish (natch), tuna, and cucumber on the inside, with orange (shad?) roe and crunchies on top. However, I'd like to open this up to the rest of the class as well.

What's on your Rick Roll?

I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm seized by the idea that the Rick Roll should involve prawns, avocado, and mayonnaise, and it should be held together with soy paper instead of seaweed.

Interesting. As I am allergic to both avocado and prawns, I wouldn't have gone in that direction, but I see the inspiration.

And I've never had sushi with soy paper! That sounds delicious.

Oh no! I'd be so annoyed if I couldn't eat avocado.

The soy paper is really good. It has a very light, delicate flavor, and it doesn't interfere with the fish at all.
