Every time I think I'm out, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!

*sigh* Wearing the receptionist hat yet again. The regular receptionist quit. The girl (she's like, 2 years older than me, so I can say that) who usually covers reception is out today. So here I am...recepting. However, unlike some other places I've covered the desk, here they're falling all over themselves to thank me, which is nice. My boss especially,who said that my attitude about reception (I basically said something about it being necessary and all that) was 'noted about 100 times' and that they were VERY greatful. So yay. :)

and I won't have to do this much longer...when Rich comes back from lunch he'll be taking over. Hahah.

doh. My mom (who I've been wanting to talk to since yesterday) called me yesterday and I somehow missed it. Go me. I'll hopefully get to talk to her after the new episode of Angel tonight. As of this point in the season, I am going off spoilers. I've probably read too much anyway, but I still want some surprises. So this is it. It's going to be SO HARD. But it'll be worth it. I hope.

(even though last year I read ahead of time that Buffy was going to die and it still shocked the hell out of me. So there you go.)

I am trying to be a good girl. I've been trying to cut back on carbs and eat smarter. I went to the gym yesterday and hope to make it a habit. I think I get enough cardio exercise from walking, so perhaps I'll start emphasizing weight training during my time there.

IF I DON'T HAVE A CHEESEBURGER & FRIES SOMETIME WITHIN THE NEXT 24-36 HOURS I WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE A PSYCHOTIC EPISODE.
