The whirlwind move this weekend was actually more of a breeze. We got everything into the van without a problem, and got ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
quasisonic into her dorm before you could say "Albany sucks." ;)
Most annoying was how we discovered when we got to the storage place that somehow, an entire box of pots and pans had dissappeared. which means it could be one of the following:
1. It was lifted by one of my less-than-trustworthy suitemates. (Not my roommate. She would have called me in 0.68 seconds if she had found a box of mine with her stuff. Plus I've been to her new place and helped to cook dinner, and the stuff was not there.)
2. it was accidentally left somewhere
3. 1 & 2 : it was accidentally left in the living room and THEN lifted by one of my less-than-trustworthy suitemates. Grar.
Just.so.annoying. It's not the pots so much as the principle. (and the really nice farberware frying pan with lid that was in there. that I wanted.) More info as the mystery progresses.
Also spent some time in Target. Ahh, Target. I got 3 new shirts (2 for work), packs of the Puffs-to-Go that I can never find in Brooklyn anymore, and the new Weezer (Maladroit) and Dashboard Confessional cds. I currently believe that The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most is the best album I have heard in a VERY long time. I also used my borders gift card to get Hard Candy by Counting Crows (whom I adore for being so consistent). So nice to have new cds again.
Also: Does anybody know anything about the buzzing I've heard re: a new U2 cd on its way out? I know there is a single called Electrical Storm on the way. But new U2? WANT.
Also, a busy week ahead so far. Jeff and I are most likely going to go to the Yankees/BoSox game tomorrow, and Kathy and I have plans to see S1m0ne on Friday. Tonight and Thursday will be spent on very much-needed rest (especially with the game and all) and WORKING ON THE FICS I DIDN'T DO A DAMN THING ON ALL WEEKEND!!! Argh. But am so very excited about the Yankee game.
