Ow. So at the moment, something is going on with my head/sinuses that is making concentration, balance, and general equilibrium nigh impossible. Don't know what's causing this, but it needs to stop. Now. It's only my 8th day of work, and I don't need them to think I'm some kind of an idiot. *sigh*

Don't think I'll be attending this year's office holiday fete. I think it might be better to wait until I'm more settled in the company before I attempt to mingle with THREE THOUSAND PEOPLE. If the party was just HC, and not all of Newscorp, I'd have no problem going. But this is ridiculous! I have until tomorrow to decide if I am going to try and find someone to go with me to this oversized thing, or if I'm just going to go home and watch Buffy.

and now I have to try and find a folder that doesn't seem to exist. Anywhere. *grrr* I have my benefits orientation today, which is perfect, because all of my forms are at home. *slaps forehead* Maybe this woman will explain it to me in a way that all of it becomes understandable. Since this is one of the biggest publishers of English-language children's books, I'm hoping an I-Can-Read book will be available on the topic. *sigh*.

I could use one of these right now. )

from Joyce Jillson in the New York Daily News:
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). A romantic attachment becomes a complicated matter. All sorts of feelings will begin to shake, rattle and roll within. Such emotions propel your life forward. Taurus or Libra could be a sexy new companion. At work, the team comes up with great ideas. Aries or Gemini is a major asset in brainstorming sessions, so invite these signs to speak freely. However, when it comes to following through, you're the one who needs to do it or chances are it won't get done.

and from Kelli Fox of astrology.com:
Submerge yourself in a familiar medium with new delight. You adapt so easily to what you're doing that you may not even notice the change. It's okay to read minds if you resist the urge to step in and rewrite them.

Not sure which one I put more stock in. I'd have to give it more thought. Don't want the whole ball of wax to unravel, you know. ;)
