it was so cold this morning my nose hurt.
Jan. 17th, 2003 10:49 amEvery so often the cold weather puts strange ideas into my head:
US Airways deal of the moment:
New York/LaGuardia - Freeport/Grand Bahama Island $178
However, the idea of getting into a bathing suit in the middle of winter does have 'unappealing' written all over it. But still..a little trip to club med, some drinks with umbrellas, some beach time, hopefully a cute guy or two with the same idea... *sigh*
I can dream, yes? yes.
anyway, work is working. This weekend promises non-stop fun:

antheia!! (I have NOT seen it once. I don't know what # viewing this will be for her.) Then there will be food and the bar, of course. :D
Sunday the lovely Catherine and I are seeing The Hours and having brunch!
Monday I dunno. I'd love to go to Target (just because)or do something equally silly. May elect to spend the day watching Buffy dvds in my pajamas. Hmmmm.....
This year I am probably going to elect to totally ignore Valium Time Day. I have plans to put a profile up on Nerve.com (to take the pressure off of Anna, natch) and see how that goes, but I'm so done caring at this point. I have bigger fish to fry.
However: BAM will be showing The Philadelphia Story on Feb 14th. Which is one of my all-time favorites. So that may be an option. (however, this is not to say that I won't be tromping down to Iggy's afterward's....) At the moment, this is all TBD. But it's nice to have an idea.
