Only about 3 more hours left...
Jun. 27th, 2003 10:05 amwhich is a good thing, because the a/c is SO not working in this building. meh. :P
I'm beginning to wonder/worry if I have a problem with Thai food, despite my love of it. Last night I partook of the marvelous four-course (soup, salad/appetizer, entree & dessert) prix-fix at Yum Yum Bangkok, and loved it (despite the fact that I had to inhale my green tea ice cream to put out the four-alarm fire in my mouth). A few hours later, I was smacked in the head with the WORST headache I've had in months. (Making the one I bitched about on LJ a short time ago seem like nothing). It's still here, too. My parents think I might be having a reaction to the food I ate (given my history) but I dunno. I *did* get a pretty nasty headache the last couple of times I had Thai, but once I thought it was because of the mojito I was drinking and the other because I was so exhausted. I'm wondering if it's a pattern instead.
The worst thing about the headache is that it was pounding my brain to pate as I sat watching Zanna, Don't!, the most delightful musical I've seen in ages. Seriously cute and fun and energetic. It's a real shame it's closing this weekend, but I've heard rumors it's supposed to be back in the fall.
(although, as most of the songs were about love, it was a bit difficult to watch - kind of like a special on the food channel about something you once loved but had to give up because you were allergic and it made you ill.)
and now I just got a whole pile of work to do. Wah. *sulks*
at least
quasisonic is meeting me later and we're supposed to do something funnish and including lunch. I could do with a pedicure, my feet are killing me. But I do really really want to go to the beach club. Like really really. It's the right weather for it and everything. Hrm *refuses to acknowledge rain predictions*
