squiddeh about saturday. I was all set & ready to go when I got the abomidable stomach ickiness of doom, thus killing all hopes for the evening. :( I hope it was fun.
Secondly, hi all. *waves*
I now have October 6th off!! Whee! *dances* I have a three-day-weekend to look forward to. :) Am filled with glee-ish glee. (especially sincequasisonic will be visiting Albany this weekend! heh. Just kidding, sweetie! ^0^)
anyway, the weekend had gotten off to a lovely start. M and I went to Comic Strip Live, and had a pretty good time. He won a t-shirt in a raffle that he let me have. (isn't that sweet?) Some of the comics were very funny, and some of the others weren't having a good night. The MC was telling jokes that would have been original and funny 10-20 years ago (as M pointed out).
Oh, and yesterday Jeff showed me some ooooold pictures (like, 5 years old) that he found of me. I don't even look like myself, I swear. He's scanned them in & sent them to me, but my image hoster isn't working. I'm loathe to emailcarpdeus, since I'm sure he's traveling/busy/may have said something ages ago that my hummingbird brain has forgotten, but still, must ask, so you can all see what I looked like waybackwhen, before I even ever heard of livejournal. When AIM was still new & exciting. When I still had an AOL account. Hell, before I even started using Napster! 1998!! A completely different century.
It was so long ago I'm suprised it wasn't a daguerrotype. *rimshot*
I haven't had my lunch yet because my stomach is still sort of bothering me (as it has been on & off since friday night). And my head hurts.
Still all can't be bad on a day when you get two books for free that you've been coveting! One completely unexpectedly, the other was asked for.
Still...can I go home and sleep now? I don't feel so good. :P
