Sick & the City
Jan. 5th, 2004 10:56 amBlah. I'm at work and feel like crap. So I am cranky. Reading my computer screen has been a real challenge today. My throat hurts lots and I can't think straight. Good times.
Urgh. Why is Britney Spears getting married an object of such great interest? (other than schadenfreude?) I missed the boat entirely.
I haven't felt this out of it since Halloween night, when I had one half of one drink, then was miserable the rest of the night and the next day, when out at a writing group meeting (in Riverside Park, no less) I discovered that what I thought was allergies was not indeed. I waaana gooo hoooome. I only came in today because it's the first day of the year and I had things that needed doing. Ra ra responsibility.
Had to give New Girl her copy of The Pianist back. She really really enjoyed Ever After, though, so yay for a big happy movie switch. (I no longer have the joy of that cute picture on the front of the dvd at my disposal! waah. *clings*)
Also: staying home last night was VERY SMART. I was sooo tired by 9:30 that I decided to go to my room, but couldn't sleep when I got there. I tried to write, but couldn't see straight. So I tried to sleep again. Didn't work until almost 1. Argh.
( My thoughts on last night's SATC )
