Woohoo!! I got my refund today!! (well, actually Friday. But I didn't know about it until today, so it doesn't count). Wooohoooo!!

That makes my life SO much easier. *phew*

I had an absolutely lovely brunch at antheia's house yesterday, with squiddeh and queenmother49 also in attendance. squiddeh made marvelous omlettes and we all had such a lovely time chatting, and watching Sweet Home Alabama and Pirates of the Caribbean. SO much fun. I really don't see them nearly often enough, and that so needs to be remedied. And it probably will be, now that there are no longer any cats in the house.

I know it's technically an apartment, but it's two levels, and in a house, so it feels so very much like a house I'm beginning to consider her area of Brooklyn in a major way. Her place just has so much character, and is so plain beautiful I'm covetous. I spent a wee bit of time in her roommate's room, helping said roommate decide on an outfit to wear to a gallery opening (and she liked my suggestions!) and I just loved her room, too. I think the moving-out lust will be returning soon, even though I still love the warmth and familiarity that living with the family offers. And when you're not feeling yourself, as I haven't been this past week, being at home has a distinct advantage.

Also: I've been completely and totally exhausted this weekend - so much so I went to bed at 10pm last night, and slept until nearly 10:30 this morning. I don't know what's going on, maybe it's the last bit of the cold that wouldn't die (finally have stopped coughing, hallelujah!), or just plain being tired. I don't know. Still, this very much needs to stop, and soon. Pretty please!

Now I'm going to take my shiny new refund and...pay bills! (blah) Well, actually, the refund has been allotted to my share of the Beach Club, since we ARE in fact going back this year!! YAY! *Kermit flail* I am SO happy about this. Monstrously happy. It's going to cost me a bit, so large portions of my summer weekends will in fact be spent there. Not that I won't be free to do other things occassionally, mind you, just that weather permitting, that will be where you can find me. :)

And now I have to pay those bills, and probably try to squeeze in a viewing of one of the movies I never got to this weekend so I can be all done in time for dinner and Hugh Jackman: Inside the Actor's Studio tonight. :) Then I'm going to bed early. Maybe. Hopefully. For once...
