So sorry to take so long to reply to this - the reason being that, I was in another, sleepy, unmolested part of the country this week with work and thankfully far from the madding crowds.
I was in London over the weekend - and the boy and I live only about a mile from Tottenham, where it all kicked off. However aside from being kept up by the sound of helicopters and sirens and a few nearby shops being boarded up the next day we were okay. Still scary though, bad times.
