In review.

The reading went extremely well. Giant thanks are in order to angelicillusion, damiella, missgyder, ntang, quasisonic, whtegrlwthehair, vbpal (and his girlfriend Michelle) , Puck, Carly, Tim and my parents for making it out. Even more importantly, bigger thanks to blergeatkitty for letting me inviting me to read in the first place.

I am highly disappointed in the Oscars. Highly. I mean, it'd be worse if I really and truly cared, but the awards this year, sucked. The dresses (except for Salma Hayek!) sucked. The one saving grace? Jon Stewart. I hope he comes back next year. Also? I think I love George Clooney even more now. But Crash? Crash?! What is everyone on? That overacted, badly edited, terribly written hack job is the best picture of the year? WHAT?! *sigh*

I'm glad I took today off. Really glad. I spent it shopping with my mom - I got two badly-needed new purses, two new pairs of shoes (also needed) and a very pretty bathing suit.

There are 12 days until Vegas!! 12!! I ought to write some sort of version of the 12 Days of Christmas, but as "The 12 days of Vegas." Or maybe I'm just overtired. Yeah. I think that one.
