It feels less than 72 degrees in here!
Nov. 19th, 2007 05:52 pmFirstly, and most importantly, belated birthday wishes are in order for my wonderful mom.
quasisonic and I each took Friday off to spend the day with her and to have some shopping fun around Chinatown. It was fun, as well as her first exposure to Soup Dumplings. :)
But after the loooooong, crazy week I'd had, I was totally wrecked. I was out/up late Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and by the time Friday rolled around, I managed to get through the day thanks to Excedrin and my own stubborn will. Then, I collapsed. Which was for the best, really. I took it super-easy this weekend, and I needed it (even if it made me sacrifice the Project Jenny/Project Jan show I was hoping to see). But I feel human again, and brains no longer look tasty.
Yesterday, I was crazy productive. I managed to finish my great closet purge, and got rid of everything that doesn't fit or look good in my wardrobe. I have room in my closet for the clothes that I actually wear. Everything is organized and separated by season. It's awesome. Especially because I do not need to shop for party clothes for the holidays - I have all I need.
Then there was an awesome comedy show, but more on that later, after I get home.
