Saturday morning
Jul. 5th, 2008 09:00 amJ had work today, so I got up with him. I'm probably going to put some clothes on in a minute and head out for some adventuring.
Usually I'd be cranky about being up this early on a Saturday, but I've come to really like it. (Especially since I'm off for the next couple of days and I have the luxury of sleeping later another day of it, and I slept until 10 yesterday, so).
Yesterday was an awesome party with awesome folks. And, the single greatest collection of beer I've seen anywhere outside of a bar in a long, long time. Kudos to the host of said shindig, as it was a fine time.
In the meantime, I have some errands to run and some walking around to do. I think that it's just that kind of day for me.
(I'm also in the process of reconsidering Death Cab for Cutie. They didn't really grab me at first, but when someone who is important to you tells you who their favorite band is, you want to at least keep an open mind. Then I caught part of Drive Well, Sleep Safely on Starz this morning, and for some reason their songs were sounding better to me. So maybe I'll ask J to make me a mix or something. Unless any other DCfC fans on here want to recommend a starter album for me. )
