Good Things.
Oct. 29th, 2008 09:46 amLast night, I had a lovely dinner with friends. Lovely company and food, and I'm liking that this is becoming a semi-regular thing. :)
Then, this morning, as I walked to work, I ran into
dotfic! I forgot that she lived close to where I worked, and it was super nice to see her. We discussed making plans for next week, which we will hopefully do.
Recently, I decided that buying the fancy brand oatmeal was a waste of money and switched to the store brand. The past two days in a row, mixing it with some milk and water and microwaving it for a minute has provided me with a warm, filling, fluffy, breakfast - way more filling and fluffy than I remember the fancy one being. So three cheers for store brand!
And it's Wednesday. Which is okay in and of itself (not yet Friday, but not Monday, either), plus I'm seeing the parents tonight, which is also good.
Is it really November on Saturday? Weird.
And now, I'm off to continue surfing this massive wave of productivity that I've been experiencing this week. I'm not going to question it, just use it to my best advantage.
