Met some really cool friends of Evan's (I swear, that guy is just a magnet for fun and interesting people), including another fan of Great Big Sea that insists that they're coming back in April (anyone confirm/deny this?).
Well, they will be coming through the Tri-State area again in early April, but I don't know if I'd really say they're coming back.
According to the itinerary on their web site, they're playing Toad's Place in New Haven, CT on Sunday, April 4th.
Admittedly, I find the show a bit tempting, though making it to work Monday morning would require a great amount of effort. I could probably just call out, but I'm already taking off Thursday of that week for Opening Day.
