I watched that film this weekend also. I have to say that I had the total opposite reaction to the film. I hated it. I just didn't get why the family, especially the little sister hated the SJP character so much from the beginning. As to the SJP character and her sister, played by CD: did they come from the same family?! SJP's character came off like she didn't know how to interact with people and the things she said to her boyfriend's younger brother and his partner, just seemed out of left field.
I'm glad that I know someone who enjoyed the film, because I'm so glad that I didn't pay the full price to see it in the theaters.
I also saw another holiday themed film this weekend called, Last Holiday with Queen Latifah. Now, that was an entertaining holiday film.
