HIMYM: 4.8: Woo!

Oh my giddy aunt.

I should be used to the way that the creative team behind How I Met Your Mother follows me around with a notepad and documents my life. But holy hell, that episode hit home. Back before April, when j_bkl tumbled into my life? Ms. Sherbatsky and I had a lot of things in common. A lot. Granted, I had a job and everything, but the bits about being single and feeling out of step with my friends who were in couples were so dead on. As were the depiction of some of the Woo Girls I passed my time with.

(When they translated the woos? I nearly fell off the couch. Still, that wasn't nearly as funny as half the stuff with Barney. Why is it that Jeremy Piven keeps winning Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for Entourage when he's clearly past the point of deserving it?)

I have no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow when LJ will not be working. Facebook, Jezebel, Gawker, and twitter, I guess. But something tells me that work servers all over the world will be breaking down from the sheer levels of productivity caused by the "server move."

(Seriously? This is the only frigging way? They couldn't fucking fly to Montana?)
