I have some trouble with that "saying no" thing, too, especially when social obligations/invitations are involved. I always think that if I say no, everyone will forget I exist. That downtime can be so, so helpful...
I've never tried arugula pesto! I may have to do something like that with some mustard greens I have around, though...
