offbalanceAnd so the office was full again with people, and the boss said unto his assistant, let there be unpacked boxes and cases so that they may be repacked again on the morrow. And the visitor said unto the assistant that the boxes of handbags would unpacked after lunch.
Though she did her best to stay at the front of the battle, the assistant made many mistakes, despite her best efforts. She often felt lacking in the eyes of the boss, whether this was true or not. The assistant sent out resumes and hoped for one day to be permanent somewhere, in something.
(okay, so the Bible stuff fell off. But I tried to make it amusing, dammit. Hope Anna feels better after her accident, that this week ends bloody soon and that I make it through the afternoon without appearing too much the slobbering git.)
