Thanks to
antheia for giving me this site to torture myself with that which I cannot yet afford. I was going to just go the roommate finder route, but after talking to Tim and Carly abotu it last night, I realized that if I can move out from home and get my own place, then Goddamnit it's gonna be MY OWN PLACE. Tim said it best when he added, "It's not going to be any different than trying to get a random roommate through SUNY."
However, he (and I, to be truthful) forgot to add that random room assignments is how I met his girlfriend 3 years ago! (and in turn, how he met her). So iono. But yeah. I need a job.

When I'm down in the city I can help you find places and what not...heh, maybe we can even find someone who you can live with...and if you kill them I'll help you dump the body ;)

"That which I cannot yet afford."
Did you mean that you cannot afford sublet.com's registration fees, or afford the apartments? We do have an account with them, and can give you the contact information for any apartments that you are interested in. Let me or Irene know if you have any apartments that you are looking at.
Chris.

Date: 2002-07-07 04:16 pm (UTC)As I am jobless and don't have any real savings to speak of, it's the apartments I can't afford, not the account. But it's an entirely generous offer, and I'm very happy for it, so thanks!
Did Irene get a copy of the Times today?
