I had a zine, and then a diaryland page that were both under some form of the word 'Equilibrium.' I figured since the LJ format was so different, I should go for the opposite, hence, Offbalance.

That there was no baseball strike, and that I'm going to a game tonight. GO YANKEES!

7. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORY?
Possibly telling off Hillary in front of the entire Murrow Network staff at the end of senior year, but probably the day I passed the chem regents with a 72 after busting my ass.

8. WHAT IS THE MOST INSANE THING YOU'VE DONE FOR/TO A CRUSH THAT HE/SHE MIGHT NOT/MIGHT KNOW ABOUT:
written poems. some bad, some actually not very. But so cliche.

9. DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM WEDDING:
Got an hour? ;) Either a huge, fairly traditional do at the Waldorf or somesuch with me in an incredibly beautiful dress, crystal, china, roses, etc; a kitschy vegas wedding; or some combo of the two. Getting married at the beach sounds fun, but it's ripe for disaster.

No. Nyet. Nope. Never.

I don't have a 'best friend.' I have an inner circle of my most loved & trustworthy nearest & dearest, who mean the world to me. :)

Do I even have to say it? Buffy, of course, someone who I identify with more and more as the seasons progress.
(honorable mention to Samantha from Sex & the City. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm most like Charlotte, but Sam is definitely more interesting.)

19. IF YOU WERE FAMOUS AND WERE TO BE A GUEST ON A TALK SHOW, WHOSE SHOW WOULD YOU CHOOSE? WHY?
Conan O'Brien. I think he gives some of the best interviews, he's funny, and his show almost always makes me laugh. Plus, he's in New York!

Hard Candy. Which is as ridiculous as the request. :P

21. DO YOU HAVE ANY WEIRD SLEEPING HABITS?
I sleep best on a firm mattress in a cool pitch-dark room, on my side under lots of blankets. I don't think that's weird so much as high maitenance.

Summer's over.

some variant on t-shirt or tank top with long, baggy pajama pants. I add sleeves in winter.

Best so far: 22 involved a weekend-long celebration featuring the mighty

antheia, partying like it was 1993 at The Big House, Dirty Dan's, copious drinking, and then a dinner on the actual day with a bunch of close friends at one of the best burger joints i've ever been to: Sutter's of Albany. :D

Worst so far: 15 involved my dad in the hospital, a case of bronchitis and having to do a history project.

35. WOULD YOU RATHER BE A HOBBIT, AN ELF OR A DWARF?
Probably an Elf, so I could go after Legolas...*swoon*.

36. WHAT ARE THE FIRST FIVE THINGS YOU WOULD SPLURGE ON IF YOU WERE A BILLIONAIRE?
a. an apartment in Manhattan's Grammercy Park.
b. Travel first class back to England, the rest of Europe, Australia and Japan, taking along any family and friends who wished to go. And shop like there's no tomorrow the whole time.
c. Pay off student loans for me & my sister.
d. buy my parents a house and people to take care of it for them.
e. custom made knee-high boots, in grey suede, brown suede, camel suede, black suede, and black leather.

shower, moisturize, check email one last time, listen to music.
