WAHOOOO!!!!! Laura and I just got tickets to see GUSTER at Hammerstein on November 27th!! Oh, so very exciting. *dances*

Not only to I get to go with one of my very bestest friends, I get to go with one of the few Guster-heads I know! Whee! (Okay, so tickets were $25, and a bit more after sundry charges. But it's Guster, who really know how to put on a great freakin' show. And it's been what, A year? 18 months since I last saw them? Clearly, too long ago.)

(they'll also be playing shows in Boston & Philly, for those interested. more info on their site.)

Edit: [almost forgot!] Also, LOTR people: You might want to check your local B&N. I went past the one on/near Court Street yesterday, and they had HUGE display standups. Life size, of Viggo & Orli. They hold mass-market paperbacks. Just an FYI. ;)

:D They seem really awesome. I've seen them about 4 other times so far, this will make #5, and the 3rd time I've seen them in NYC (the other two times were in Albany).

I've seen them:
1. Opened for Ben Folds Five, Palace Theater, Albany NY
2. Central Park Summerstage, NY NY (if someone could get me a bootleg of this, I'd die happy).
3. Opened for Barenaked Ladies, Madison Square Garden, NY
4. Palace Theater, Albany, NY

they also have the greatest website, yes? :)
