Fuck you, Irving Berlin!

You can all yell Scrooge at me as loud as you please, but if it wasn't for the fucking song, no one would give a rat's ass as to whether or not it fucking snowed on fucking Christmas. So, thanks to a million or so mutual hopes, I now have to trundle through a blizzard tomorrow to go to work. >_< ARRGH!
But aside from the evil weather, Christmas has been quite fun. Santa was very nice to me this year.
a few highlights:
1. CD walkman
2. Coldplay - Parachutes; A Rush of Blood to the Head
3. Lovely light blue pajamas with Poodles on them, and matching slippers
4. DVD of The Young Ones - Every Stoopid Epsiode
5. Alexandria by Nick Bantock (squeee!)
6. White Stripes - White Blood Cells
7. Milennium Doo Wop Party, which Pooja sent and wound up being a big hit at Christmas dinner, and probably will be copied like crazy by the household. A really good set, although I would have put a different song by Little Anthony & The Imperials (They put on "Shimmy Shimmy Ko Ko Bop" over songs like "Tears on My Pillow" and "Going out of my head." They're out of their heads. I don't know how anyone could decide to put something STUPID on over something beautiful, but otherwise the choices are letter-perfect. I could write a long rant on the things they left out, like "Little Star" by Vito & the Elegants, and "Step by Step" by Johnny Maestro & the Crests, but I won't. I'll just enjoy.)
Dinner was beyond yum. There was turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, AND vegetable lasagna!!! Then cookies and something called tunnel cake for dessert (take your average yellow sponge cake. mix with hershey's syrup. bake in bunt pan). So all of the good.
so now I have work tomorrow (boo!) and dinner with Amy (yay!) And wait! I forgot that I get paid tomorrow, so that sweetens the deal somewhat. Friday I will probably get my ass kicked at spades over at Jeff's apartment, and Saturday is Laura's Big Birthday. Do I finally have something resembling a life? This is kind of scary.
And I have to somehow get my ass over to
angelicillusion's house so we can exchange presents. I was going to go over tonight, but the snowy deluge sort of prevented it. Stupid weather.
