Just ordered the Buffy season 2 dvd from Amazon. Whee!! Apparently, if something is a certain price, it qualifies for cheaper shipping. So I went for it, and wound up saving about $10 on it. So yay. I can't wait to watch the commentaries and the FULL episodes (and not have to deal with F/X's stupid edit's and inability to properly control the volume).

I had a nice long day at the beach with mom & dad, pouring over the NY Times want ads in the process. *sigh* What a depressing process. But I've been slacking off too long, really (okay, a week. but still), so I have to get back to it.

and I have to stop reading the Times. Nostradamus would tell these guys to lighten up about the future, for crying out loud. It may sound silly, but the attempt to convince myself that there's something to hope for on the horizon is what gets me out of bed in the morning. I can't dwell on things being terrible because it's more 'intellectual.' That's how I got depressed in the first place. *sigh* What's the sense in it? Why does everything have to be horrible? I don't get it. If there's nothing good in/about the world, then why bother? Even more, if there's something wrong out there, doesn't make more sense to get up off your duff and DO SOMETHING about it, rather than simply complain? geez.

that's it, I'm stopping this rant before it turns into a full-fledged tirade.

Why is chocolate always so very extra good at certain times of the month?

Damn your black heart, Cadbury Milk Tray.
