Seriously, I was falling asleep during halftime of the Snore Bowl. Flipping between the SNL special and the musical extravaganza (I was impressed by No Doubt's rendition of "Message in a Bottle" with Sting). And I think the Gollum/super bowl ring bit was the funniest weekend update gag yet. (followed closely by the scorpion joke).

Brunch with [livejournal.com profile] nrrrdygirl was great but too brief, and we're discussing me visiting her out in Queens weekend after next. She's also pressuring the hell out of me to go up to Albany Prez day weekend (just kidding, you peer pressurer you! ;D) . I dunno. It might be fun. But then again, I am so tired right now I don't know what I want to do.

After a lovely lunch we walked around Broadway for awhile and then went our separate ways on Spring Street, her going east, and me going west. (Note of interest: there was a really GREAT a capella group singing in a doorway on spring street across from the Burberry store. I have seen them around, I think they perform with some degree of regularity. For anyone to make me stop and listen when it's that cold out HAS to be talented).

After that took a nice ride on the LIRR out to Queens, and had a really great time with Carly and Tim. Hanging out with them is always low key, and fun, and reminds me of some of the really good times I had up at school. We even went out to a bar in their area and met this nice guy that Carly went to JHS with. It was cool. We left around 12, Carly's friend was going to the city, and the three of us went home to watch the end of SNL and sleep.

This morning I got to watch fight club for the first time. So I now get the fuss over Ed Norton. Oh, do I. He's just...amazing. I'm not sure what I think of the movie yet, but I did figure the whole thing out fairly early on, which I will discuss with anyone who's seen it that wishes to.

Now I think it's time for shower and sleep. Oh yes, it is.
