You must read these books.
May. 15th, 2003 09:17 amI just finished reading Ender's Shadow on the way to work this morning. I fucking cried at the end. ( spoilers for Ender's Game & Ender's Shadow )
I mean, it's difficult enough to try to read the last few pages of a book while walking up 5th avenue to work. It's even more difficult when you tear up. I had to stop on a corner (at a light), read the page over, and I still appled up again. *sniff*
Oh, and those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, and don't know who Ender is, GET OFF OF YOUR ASSES AND GET TO A BARNES AND NOBLE OR THE LIBRARY AND GET THE DAMN BOOK. *ahem* Ender's Game, that is. They must be read in order.
(and I am well aware of the fact that somewhere, Jeff is saying "I told you so!" Because he's the one who made me read Ender's Game in the first place.)

angelicillusion filled me in, and I don't think I missed, well, anything. And, the Buffy thing on A&E was cute, and nostalgic (and had a great clip of James Marsters playing guitar), but aside from some okay interview bits, nothing was earthshattering.
(okay, and I knew a lot more than they did about the show's history. Should I be scared?)
