I have many things to accomplish today

Things to buy at lunch, mostly. I'm definitely going back to Tower for Maroon 5. I listened to some clips of Jet on Amazon, and while I am slightly intrigued, I think I can wait. (Now, this is why I wish I had an Ipod. Because I could just buy "Are you gonna be my girl" and call it a day. Oh, how I miss singles. Which is why I love the idea of the apple itunes store.)

And evil work to do, as always. Le sigh.

And in Evil Empire News, Tonight is Game 3!! So I went to bed very early last night (10pm) in order to reacquaint myself with this thing called sleep and be nice and rested for tonight. I'm not sure how I feel about things, the guys are down in Florida so it's nice and warm, but it's an NL ballpark with stupid NL rules. (What the hell is so bad about a DH anyway? /rant). Ah, who cares, they rock. Damn the Man, Long Live the Empire!! >D

On March 9, 2004!!! That's 2 days from my birthday!!

The Hallmark near me is also setting up for Christmas, and has the Very Clever NYC Christmas cards again this year. *plots*

Have I said how excited I am about Christmas? Because I so am. I love how 5th avenue looks, and how all the stores do these amazing windows. And the fact that I'm 5 minutes away from Rockerfeller Center, and that place is just beautiful around the holidays. :)
Am I looking forward to the masses of slow-moving, street-blocking tourists? FUCK NO!

And this is not in any way rushing away the beauty that is NYC in Fall. I want to go to Central Park and Prospect park when the leaves are turning so I can get a good look. Hopefully it'll happen - it didn't last year.

I can't believe it's nearly november, either.
