Marriage is love.

I got the camera. It's mine! It's mine! It's allll minnne!!! *cackles* I have great love for J&R Music/Computer world, too. The staff there is so wonderful and knowledgeable, and the prices are so much better than anywhere else. Plus, I now have my precious. So bright...so beautiful...and alll mine...

Plus, the 256mb SD card? It holds anywhere between 150 and 531 pictures, depending on the mode. 0.0 eeeeeeeeeee!!!

I heard about A-Rod. *shrugs* I reserve all judgements (be they positive or negative) until after the season gets into full swing.

So, the big Sunday Shopping Extravaganza went very well - quasisonic and I set out at a perfectly reasonable hour, and after acquiring the precious for me and perusing Ipods with Laura (omgwant...) we headed up to Macy's and actually made some necessary purchases of socks and other such items. The thing I'm the most excited about is the acquisition of a satin robe like I've been after for awhile. However, Macy's proved a better venue than Chinatown for getting one, as this robe was cheaper & machine washable, and the nicest pattern I've seen yet (it's white, and covered with red and blue fans). We got there early enough to get some quality shopping done, but ran for our lives at 3:30, when the crowds got completely out of control.

After a snack we hit Sephora, and she helped me pick out the most amazing red lipstick from a company called Lola. It's quite snazzy.

After a brief trip to the Gap so that she could look at coats, we trudged home. Then came dinner, and then Sex & the City. OMG. More on that in a minute. My mom and I were going to tape the Forsytes and watch SATC & Iron Jawed Angels, but our Forsyte tape got screwed up somehow. We'll be taping it tonight when it's re-aired (at 4am! ><) tonight, but still. Grrr. Iron-Jawed Angels was supposed to be about the suffragettes, but as a movie it was a decent music video. *rolls eyes* It was glossy and pretty, but there was no depth whatsoever.

Note to self: call hotel tomorrow to check and see if we have HBO. No, I'm not going all the way to New Orleans to watch tv, but :
1. It's not tv, it's HBO.
2. It's THE LAST EPISODE EVER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!

And it's just an option. We can go out AFTER the show is over (and we all stop bawling).

I did my taxes and my laundry today. Go me! Now I'm going to bed.
