Ahh, youth.

Our intern started today. This year, I was a bit more confident and prepared for one, so it's been fun so far. And she's GREAT. Enthusiastic (actually requested to work in this department!!), sweet, smart & ambitious (just graduated from Harvard!!), and fun. Did I mention she was enthusiastic? She's really been incentive for me not to slack off too much, so that's a genuine positive. I honestly feel bad for making her do al the filing I need done (especially since she was dressed up all nicely today), but I already explained how much of my job is filing, so it's not so bad, I suppose. But I'm very much looking forward to these next two weeks - the possibilites seem endless for this one!

At the moment, she's currently off at her intern meeting about the intern project, so I have a moment to breathe. She also mentioned that she'd be taking lunch immediately after, and would be back around 1:30. Which was perfect, as I usually like to take my lunch around 12:30, too. Ooh, I'm going to like her! (Of course, as a job hunter, she has more incentive to impress than the last guy. But I think that she's the type who's just this way naturally. Still, ♥ )

Yesterday much fun was had at Casa antheia & queenmother49 with ginpalace, leopard_lady, quasisonic, the ladies of the house, and Iron Chef Omlette (aka squiddeh). There were large pitchers of screwdrivers, and lots of Firefly The hero of Canton, the man they call meeeee!!! Heheeh. After sister and I finally stumbled out at 5, we took a look at a house antheia told us about with a for rent sign in the window. We weren't really feeling it, but many discussions were had about Operation Leave Nest.

Tonight is Movieoke at Casa Logic, would anyone be interested in doing dinner beforehand, since it starts at 8? Let me know!

Back to work - I have lunch to eat and then a walk to take...so this should be my only post of the day.
