AAAAAAAAAGH!

Apparently I've inadvertantly put on the 'bother me & get in my way' sign on today. I went out for a few minutes to get some sun, some warmth, and something chocolate, and I was swarmed with asshattery. Some highlights?

1. Some of you may or may not remember a couple of months back when I got suckered in by a psychic that works on 53rd street, who said she could 'cure' my aura for the bargain price of $300 after suckering me in for a tarot card reading. Naturally I declined. Wouldn't you know that today that very same psychic tried to stop me? I growled that I wasn't interested and kept walking towards Madison.

2. While trying to calm myself by looking at the lovely sparkling things in the window at Cellini, some greasy weirdo kept asking me if I thought some rings in the window were "regional diamonds." How in the holy fuck should I know? Piss off and die. Thank you, drive through.

3. I had to fight my way through a picket line to get into Duane Reade. I'm sure you have greivances, but please don't bring it up to me while I am PMSing. For your safety, please back away quietly and let me at the chocoloate.

4. There were no hershey bars at DR, so I bought nothing, and wound up going across the street to PAX and bought a brownie. It was good. I almost feel better now.

In other news, I've been very productive today. The intern is all about being knowledge girl, but while still being sweet & fun. (To bring up the Sex & the City personality types for a second, she's the most Charlottey Charlotte to ever Charlotte. Seriously!)

I am having dinner at Vinyl and then am attending a performance of Arthur Miller's After the Fall with the lovely whtegrlwthehair this evening. That fact should give me plenty to look forward to.

Also: a reminder: I will be on The Graham Norton Effect tonight, 10pm EST on Comedy Central. Not the guest, just another named face in a featured bit.
I will be taping this.

I'm going to go and try to simmer down a little.
