I love the MTA/ Guess who's back?
Sep. 22nd, 2004 09:56 amI usually get on a Manhattan-bound B train around 7:40, and get to my stop anywhere between 8:20 and 8:30. Apparently, I got off the train at just the right time yesterday. Meep.
I had no problems getting home or into work this morning, either. I suppose timing in life is everything, but knowing about how many problems are existing on my train line doesn't exactly provide me with the warm fuzzies, as it were. It's not enough to make me want to take the Q (yet), but I certainly hope something is done about this already. FAY, MTA. :p
In better news...the Yankees!
Guess who's back...back again...Jason's back...tell a friend...*giggle* I know it'll take more than one HR to wage an 'official' comeback, but my dad pointed out that Giambi could still hit .350 in the playoffs if he keeps up, despite all the problems this year. And I can't think of a more elegant way to extend a middle finger at the naysayers than for him to do so. *cheers* Still, is anyone else concerned about their schedule this week? They have absolutely no time off! None! And they're playing Boston in Boston this weekend! *frets* Still, am very much looking forward to Thursday's game.
greensward and I haven't been to a game together in awhile, so it should be amusing, to say the least. Does anyone know if it's General Admission, or is that just a rumor?
