Adventure? Excitement?
Sep. 23rd, 2004 10:13 amLooks like a beautiful day for baseball out there! *bounce* So exciting. I feel like I'm getting away with something. Even though I also believe I earned it, as I was here until 6:30 last night. OMGWTF. On the bright side, though, I got a bunch accomplished and off my head. And in even better news, something I was going to work on today got solved 1-2-3 thanks to an email. So rah!
And I think I may have come up with a good Halloween costume. But the question remains: Battle!Eowyn or Rohan!Eowyn? Or should I keep thinking? And can I mention how AWFUL the 'official' LOTR costumes are? Because if I'm to shell out $75 for an Arwen costume (which is the only kind they had, so this is strictly academic), I want the ability to speak Elvish and be mistaken for Liv Tyler, in addition to getting to make out with Viggo Mortensen in full Aragorn regalia. I'm NOT paying that for some poorly constructed rayon in a bag. pfft. Plus? You had to buy the Elvenstar seperately. (also, the Legolas costume was hillarious. Worst.wig.ever.)

greensward that it's time to blow this taco stand. Speaking of tacos, tacologic & alcestis rocked the house yesterday at Movieoke but not one, but two scenes from Empire Strikes Back (including "Luke, I am your father." and a hockey-stick lightsaber). selftoken & blergeatkitty also did a scene, and both should be commended - Blerg's Yoda was quite good, and Mitch managed to make his voice break just like Luke's. *impressed*.
