Weekend Update

After months weeks of forced seclusion, I was finally able to have something of a normal weekend this weekend:

Happy birthday to : herrsprengstoff and planetbs!!!

The Good:
Dinner with mcgorkelsohnns, Evan, Marissa (and seeing Jacinda later on)
Amazing Brunch at Noho Star & lots of fun with teany.
My swingin' new purse. Which will be my purse for all time. And her name will be Vi....oh, sorry. Tangeant.

The Bad & Ugly:
I ♥ Huckabees (more on that below)

The stupid virus on my computer that Norton can't fix automatically.
That people who write viruses aren't given the death penalty, tortured, and forced to listen to Celine Dion. We hate them, precious.
ALCS Game 4.

I taped this week's Desperate Housewives, so I'll have to watch that later.

Dinner was at a lovely Japanese place on 2nd called Maru Maru. Prices were reasonable, and the food yummy. There's sushi and cooked stuff, so quasisonic & I should go back sometime, maybe with applessixeleven. Score another point for the Loew's Kips Bay - lots of affordable, good restaurants in the vicinity. Had a blast with the group - talking about the O'Reilly scandal (which seems to have died down thanks to a smackdown between Jon Stewart and some dude on Crossfire. I am also now an official member of the Jon Stewart harem because of this. *awe*) and the application to work for Google. If the application is any indication of the kind of workplace they have there, it's definitely of the bizarre.

Okay, great. It's now after 5, this post has been sitting here since 11:30 this morning, and not even close to done. So more tomorrow. Maybe. But you get the general idea.
