Nothing bad can happen today - not on Rex Manning Day!!

Okay, raise your hand if Gmail/Gchat is giving you GShit. I keep getting knocked off, and now it's barely letting me send email. I don't know if they've straight up blocked it at the office (seems unlikely) or if they're just having quirkiness about it. I have GoogleTalk at the ready in case I get desperate, but WTF, mate? This is annoying!!

Yesterday was interesting. I'll save most of the diet related details for mcfatfat (as that's what its for), but suffice it to say that I learned a valuable lesson about caloric intake vs. bitchiness output.

After work, I met up with blergeatkitty and leopard_lady for a vigorous round of shopping at DSW. I easily found a great pair of shoes for teany's wedding as well as a lovely little pair of flats that I'm going to get a lot of use out of this summer. Then, I found a great little evening bag at Filene's (well, Jess found it, and made me buy it, but I'm very glad she did.) Then we spent a little time playing around in the fancy dresses (although I'm not sure if I'll ever do that again, based on how completely awful the customer service people were in the fitting room at Filene's. Seriously bitchy.) I also ended up buying a shirt at Forever 21. The clothes fit me there better than I thought that they would, which is excellent - they have nicer stuff than I expected, and it's all so very cheap.

Today, I'm at work. And working. But tonight, tonight - tonight I'm seeing a preview of X-Men III!!! Hurrah!

And now, a meeting.
