Good News

As per gaztherat, the ninja kitty has been adopted by a very nice family who "fell in love with her instantly." I am SO happy to hear this. I would have loved her to have been my kitty, but such is the way it rolls with allergies. But I'm happy that a formerly lost and lonely kitty now has a happy home.

Decent weekend so far. Was going to go home and spend quality time with the dvr on Friday, but that plans were preempted by a tempting invite from airspaniel, and I instead wound up with a burger at the Farm on Adderley and many tasty beers at Sycamore (along with fine company). I'm doing well on my continued quest to try all of Six Points' beers by year's end - Friday I had the Righteous Rye (formerly the Hop Obama, if memory serves) and I liked it much. Alas, that's only at the farm. I should try to grab the ear of the owner dude (who STILL recognizes and says hi to me) to try and convince him that the Righteous Rye should also be at Sycamore. But I can deal with the Goose Island until then. Hooray Beer!

Yesterday was a Firefly Marathon and then Catherines Karaoke Bday. Both also fun. It also made me think critically about why Dollhouse is lacking the sparkle of other Whedon creations, or if I should give it a season before I start comparing it. Still I am wondering.

Now, as j_bkl and I are expecting a dinner guest, I have to go back to shoving things into hiding places tidying up.
