Take away my hot water, and I will hurt you.

SO, we have no hot water in the building. Haven't for more than 24 hours. There's been no signage posted promising relief, and no assurances that it will be taken care of soon. I called 311 and apparently, several other complaints have been made by people in my building. Which is good. I've met several neighbors informally, and none of them seem to have any hesitation when it comes to calling the cops or the city if something isn't taken care of. The woman I met in the elevator last night seemed like she wanted to kick in the super's door and drag him down the basement to fix the boiler, and I don't blame her one bit. :P Calls to our management company have gone unanswered. Ugh.

I'm trying to gather my bravery to go and shower. reppep's birthday party is this afternoon, and I can not face people without showering. I keep hoping the water will get turned back on, but I'm guessing the management won't do a damn thing until tomorrow, if we're lucky. I truly wish I had someone I could berate for this, but as usual, no dice.

Update: Incredible Boyfriend heated some hot water, which helped a little. But on the whole, that cold shower only served to make me even angrier at these lazy, incompetent bastards. Someone will pay for this, oh yes they will.
