Well, I feel a bit better. Nothing works quite like a day in bed to nip a nasty little bug in the bud.

also contributing to my good mood is the completely excellent mix tape that I got from the marvelous Miss Anna. It started on side B for some reason, even though it felt more like a side a. I listened to most of the second side today, I say only most b/c I could NOT get past "The Metro" by Berlin. One of my very favorite songs, I had to listen to it three times (three times!) before I got to work. I won't listen to it again until I get home and can dl it off of Audiogalaxy. But I forgot what a grand song it is. :) The rest of the tape is on the same caliber. Truly wonderful.

Buffy was great last night. Yes? I was glued to my seat for the entire hour. It was one of the eps where what seems to be a few minutes goes by, and suddenly it's 8:30. Unreal. I can't wait for next week!

i am SO GLAD that you like the tape. i have no idea why it started on side B--that must be the universe's idea of a bad joke. :) either way.

the universe has been playing a LOT of bad jokes on me recently, so what's one more? ;)

Anyway, I would LOVE to make you a U2 mix tape. I'm going to sit down later and see what I can come up with. Warning: it may be one tape, it may be two. It depends on how inspired I get. :D

I haven't the slightest idea how I'm going to make it an entire week without new buffy!

I know it's hard, but we'll get through another week w/o Buffy.

And if I were Buffy, I would have started to celebrate my birthday on my half birthday and spent the actual date of birth locked in my room. I mean, come on! Seventeen was Angel turning into Angelus after she had sex for the first time, Eighteen was that stupid test, Nineteen Giles got turned into a demon and she almost killed him, and last year the whole mess with Yawn finding out and cutting herself. Geez. I was half expecting her mom's death to be a bday ep, given her luck.

oh, and who wants Dawn to go live with hank? Raise your hands! *raises hand*

It's reminiscent of Season 1 Giles, who spent most of the time unconscious.

yes, but he also was exposition man! The man with the important data! In fight scenes, well, yes, he was unconscious man. But he did have a lot to do, season 1, I thought.
