What a morning! New Girl returned from her trip to exotic Korea with prezzies! She brought me THE most goregous little silk pouch, as well as an amazingly delicious candy bar that tasted like some sort of chocolate-covered rice crispy treat. YUM! I'm going to save the packaging in the hopes that I can connect with more of them somewhere, somehow.

I'm definitely going to have to bring some souveniers back from Mardi Gras for the group. Definitely.

I just had lunch with whtegrlwthehair, who was uptown for an interview. It was lovely to see her, as always. We chatted about this and that and she mentioned plans to go to Miami on a trip. So any of you out there who have Floridian experience (and a free moment or two), give her a shout at her journal about good hotels/fun things to do around there. Thanks! :)

Tonight I'm having dinner at Cowgirl with Theresa and quasisonic. Should be fun. I'm definitely looking forward to one of their margaritas. mmmm. It's not like Queer Eye starts again for another week.

Also: Livejournal is being invaded! First missgyder joined (and I think she should post that she's updated her real blog, and make a regular habit of that), and now Christina says that she's setting up an LJ. I think the secret conspiracy to get the entire world onto livejournal is working! Muahahaha!! um. er. yeah.

Now I've got to get back to work, I have much to do, as always.

Clearly the entire world should be on LJ. (I'm working on my dad at the moment, as he comments so often -- and i assured him there wouldn't be an obligation to actually update, though of course i know lots of people myself included who would love it if he did have an LJ of his own that he actually posted in. But i post lots of stuff he e-mails me, so it works out well enough :) )

*nod* indeed. It's such a different world here, as opposed to the outside world. You get to know people in a different way, and it's an interesting way. :)
