There are not words to describe how extremely tired I am. *sigh* Not to mention busy and stressed. If not for the occassional glances at my lj friendspage, I don't know what I'd do to keep sane.

Am also beginning to stress somewhat about my birthday. I always do this. I think this year I might be perfectly content to have a happy hour somewhere on the actual day (or even the day after, a friday) and have done with it. *sigh* I don't know. I'm stressed enough as it is, and anything else on the pile is likely to leave me a gibbering wreck.

Too bad Mardi Gras wasn't during your b-day, I would have tracked you down through the streets of the French Quarter, abducted you, then got you trashed on massive amounts of Hurricanes and Hand Grenades. ;)

A Hand Grenade is another signature New Orleans drink that tastes sweet but leaves you totally bombed at the end (but they're not quite as lethal as Hurricanes). You get them at Tropical Isle, another place on Bourbon. It's more lemon-limey while a Hurricane is more strawberry.

Ooh, okay. Sounds like a good drink! :D I did like Hurricanes though, although I thought the ones at Pat O'Brien's were sort of watered down (Gyda told me I was crazy).

Honey, let me tell you - after the little TINY sampler I got last week, there's a LAUNDRY LIST of things I'd like to do when I come back. Seriously.

The only things we probably won't be doing will involve beads. No more beads. I have more beads than I know what to do with!!
