Suzanne Lustig, 1980-2006.
I can't believe this. I was friendly with her in high school, but we weren't friends. She was a genuinely nice person who cared about the world and unlike several people I knew in high school, I could never think of a bad word to say about her. I can't believe she died.
This morning I was sulking about the sorry state of my dating life, and was going to write a big whining post about it. Not anymore - the universe has bitchslapped a bit of sense into me (at least for the moment). I may be unhappy about being single, but at least I'm alive.
Rest in peace, Suzanne. You're further proof that only the good die young.
