My shower does not have to be ripped apart. It's Friday. I'm hanging out with alcestis tonight. All things to be excited about. And there's this bright thing in the sky. I'm not sure what it is, either, but I'm told it's a good thing.

Many of you are excited about World Cup and Mocca this weekend. Yaye for that.

I'm so sleep deprived, it's all about fire bad, tree pretty right now. Yeah.

1. What is (or would be) your dream vacation?
At the moment, there are two tied for 1st place. First is to do ALL of Italy - from the Alps to the islands and everything in between. And to take my time at it, and not do one of those rush-job package tours or a cruise.

The other is a trip to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and since I'm over there anyway, Fiji.

2. What's one thing no vacation can do without?
Downtime. If you're overscheduled, it's not a vacation!!

3. What has been the best trip of your life so far?
Probably London in 2002. It was so exciting, because I'd always dreamed of going there, and all of the people I got to meet made it even more unforgettable.

4. Who was with you on that trip and what is the role of that person in your life?
The fantabulous antheia, who remains a friend even after sharing a very tiny room for a week.

5. What's the worst thing that can happen during a vacation?
Either missing or nearly missing your flight (happened with Vegas this year. ugh!) or being sick (New Orleans, 2004. Nothing says Mardi Gras like a rotten cold!)

Not regularly, but I can.

No.

WTF are these questions? I have no idea. Innocent how?

4. What do you think of chivalry?
Haven't been convinced it's anything but a myth.

5. Have you seen The Thomas Crown Affair?
The Brosnan version.

If you ever want a really competitive partner for stuff like Setback, Hearts, or Spades, I'm your girl. My mother made me play for money when I was little. I'm a MONSTER.

I've never played hearts or setback, but several people have tried to teach me to play Spades over the years with minimal success. What can I say? My family played rummy. But I do like cards - blackjack, some poker, rummy, Uno - all good by me!
