offbalanceI had a lovely weekend, that's for sure. Friday night was non-stop debauchery with Meg, and Saturday & Sunday had a trip to the Young Designer's Market and a nice long visit with Carly & Tim. I got to meet their new doggie, too, which was fun.
Today before I headed back to Brooklyn Carly and I hit this used book sale near where they live in Jersey City (it's on the Grove street stop, which is the limit of my JC knowledge), and I picked up 4 books for a grand total of 50 cents each. Since I'd already borrowed a couple from Carly, I had a quite a haul. I've been steadily working on Sex & the Single Girl, and while some of it is quaintly anachronistic, some of it is still as relevant as ever, and I found it to be quite a boost to my confidence and self-esteem. I will be done with it in matter of days, though, and I now have to decide what's next. I decided on a poll. After all, who doesn't like a poll on a Monday morning?

And now to dry my hair and get to sleep. After viewing some of Carly's interior-design skills I've decided that I absolutely want curtains in my room, and I think I found some good ones at JC Penney. I just have to discuss logistics with Mom as far as getting them up in my room (I even have my measurements and everything).
