OhmiGod... Kate and I have actual plans that are like 95% finalized...We're actually going!! I mean, LONDON! Only the city I've been dreaming about and obsessing over for my entire sodding life!!! I'm going to England!! I have to get my passport settled and pick up a couple of Maps & guides now. I saw about a billion in the bookstore today. any suggestions? Otherwise I may end up with London for dummies or something.

and this may mean I'll have to visit Pooja at some other time. But I will visit her, by gum.

The perfect map is London: A to Z (tough they pronounce it A to Zed). They sell them at virtually any newspaper store in London. You'll also want either copy of Lets Go Europe or Lonely Planet to tell you where to go.

and um...hi. I'm at a bit of a loss for words now, as I didn't think anyone outside of my circle of friends actually read this little page of mine...how'd you happen upon it, and how long have you been reading? I noticed I was on your friends page, so I'm a bit curious.

Heh, I've been reading only for a few days now. I'm a New Yorker (well, Lond Islander if you must quibble ~grin~ ) and I went to the 'search by region' option and started adding a bunch of other New Yorkers. If you'd like me to remove you from my friends list justlemme know.

Sorry, I have had some BAD experience with random people on the net in the past, but have had some good experience as well: (*ahem*Lisa*ahem*Elizabeth* ahem*ahem*), so I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt...for now. :)
