I just realized that I'm leaving for Boston next Friday. (hermionesviolin, holler if you'd like to meet up with j_bkl at some point!)

I'm going on my first vacation with J, and I'm totally excited about it. I would be even MORE excited if work wasn't going bananas in its usually June fashion. Work is just PILING up. My desk looks like a manilla version of stonehenge. >< And that's BEFORE the overtime project that I'm currently killing myself to finish all-damn-ready, because I want my life and my lunch hour back. I want to be able to get in late, leave on time and go out like a normal person for lunch. I want to go to the gym after work again.

I just had to come here and tell you all that, because the stress was seriously going to eat me.

(Edit: I also really should STFU sometimes. J is off today. He just called - not only did he hang around so that the super could come and fix the sink (our kitchen sink thought it would be fun to leak), but he's started on doing my laundry, and will make sure all the dishes are done before I arrive home. <3 Awesome boyfriend is awesome, yes he is.)

So, Friday, June 12? How long will you be in Boston for?

Yup! We get in Friday afternoon (hopefully), and we'll be leaving Monday morning. We have a rehearsal dinner the evening of the 13th and a wedding on the 14th (a whole day thing), but if you want to grab dinner/drinks friday or lunch Saturday, let me know. We'll also be up for a little bit of sightseeing, too!

Okay. That is Pride weekend. I am already double-booked on Friday night (I'm planning to skip Firefly viewing+discussion for Somerville Interfaith Pride at Havurah Shalom) and then Saturday morning is Boston Interfaith Pride service, though the Parade itself (which starts at noon) could be skippable, or we could meet up later in the afternoon/evening on Saturday.
