Okay boys & girls, it's overshare time!

Went to the Angelica Kitchen last night with Anna and [livejournal.com profile] hermionesviolin, and had carrot soup, southern style cornbread with tahini spread, and the wee dragon bowl.

woke up this morning with an angry, painful, itchy rash on every part of my body minus my head. It feels like an allergic reaction (like when I wear anything wool) so now I'm trying to figure out what in the hell happened to me. I am wondering, since the carrot-tahini dressing gave me a problem at dojo the other night (nausea), and now this, but I never have a problem with carrots, if I could be allergic to tahini? Does anyone know what's in tahnini?

I took an antihistamine and covered myself in calamine lotion, but it's still itching and blotchy. Um, help?

also, saw Tadpole last night. So very good. The film proved to me that it is possible to be funny without sacrificing brain cells or dignity. (Dana Carvey, take note).

I'm not sure if it's *just* the tahini (I've never had a problem with sesame seeds or their flavor at ALL)...there was probably some exotic spice in there that my body didn't know it was allergic to.

so yay. but yes, both articles were interesting, thanks. :)
